Kate Cammidge Cycling on the Cambodia tour with redspokes

Kate Cammidge, Leigh on Sea, Essex
Cambodia

Kate Cammidge from Leigh on Sea, Essex rates our Cambodia cycling holiday at 5 out of 5

Having never done anything like this before I was quite nervous. Once we met Phea all nerves vanished! We all seemed to gel very quickly and that helped with the cycling. Pea seemed so pleased and proud to take us to all the places we stopped at. Everyone had a story to tell us it was all so much fun and very interesting. I even got the hang of the '˜red top roads' they were something else. The Cambodian people are a brilliant nation, having gone through all that they have and they still smile! I nick-named it the land of a 1000 smiles. The children reminded me of baby peacocks saying '˜hello hello', it was fantastic! I shall never forget Cambodia and a huge thank you to redspokes for such a well organised trip. Everything, Temples, coast, river and all.

Bruce Irving Cycling on the Albania - North to South tour with redspokes

Bruce Irving, Norwich, England, UK
Albania - North to South

Bruce Irving from Norwich, England, UK rates our Albania - North to South cycling holiday at 5 out of 5

Both guides are proud of their country and keen to show us everything. They were tremendous fun. We stayed in fanatastic places ranging from downtown Las Vagas, to super cool luxury and a farm stay cabin. All beach hotels were actually by the beach, perfect for a swim. The food was really superb and so healthy. Excellent Macedonian wine. Albania was well above my expectations I did almost everything I could but left without eating a goats head, so I will have to go back!

Christine Versteegden Cycling on the Nepal tour with redspokes

Christine Versteegden, Amstelveen, Netherlands
Nepal

Christine Versteegden from Amstelveen, Netherlands rates our Nepal cycling holiday at 5 out of 5

Memorable, on this tour a lot of Nepal has been shown: mountains and 'hills', beautiful landscapes and nature, accompanied with the guide's interesting stories, the delicious variety of food. We cycled with good support and nothing to worry about. I have very good memories about this tour.

Andrew Mak Cycling on the Vietnam N.E tour with redspokes

Andrew Mak, Midlevels, Hong Kong
Vietnam N.E

Andrew Mak from Midlevels, Hong Kong rates our Vietnam N.E cycling holiday at 5 out of 5

This was my first redspokes experience even though I've been on several cycling tours before. This NE Vietnam tour was certainly one of the most memorable and exceeded all my expectation (not that I had that much). First of all, my one other tour buddy and I were spoiled rotten with all the extra attention. Second, our tour leader Phong was everything you've read in these testimonials and much much more...I felt I'd learnt just that much more about Vietnam despite having visited this beautiful country many times either on business or for pleasure. One other fun fact, apparently I had the honour of being Phong's first customer from hustle bustle Hong Kong which made this experience even more special. Well done redspokes!

Sandy McKay Cycling on the Sri Lanka - Classic tour with redspokes

Sandy McKay, Wanaka, New Zealand
Sri Lanka - Classic

Sandy McKay from Wanaka, New Zealand rates our Sri Lanka - Classic cycling holiday at 5 out of 5

Kasun was an excellent guide, he was very attentive and made sure that we had had a good day and were happy with the accommodation all the way. He was very informative and patient, and had a great sense of humour. And his back up team were also excellent, but as their English was a bit limited, not so easy to ask them questions. And we had lots!! I liked that there were plenty of stops to refuel with water and snacks. And that we stopped ot local villages for morning tea.

There was lots of different terrain, and it was great to be on the rural back roads as much as possible. Accommodation was generally excellent, especially the ones with swimming pools to cool off. And the opportunity to go rafting was great too. All in all, a very well run trip - highly recommended, even if I couldn't make it up the hills on day 6!
