Sarah Todd Cycling on the Tajikistan to Kyrgyzstan tour with redspokes

Sarah Todd, Berlin
Tajikistan to Kyrgyzstan

Sarah Todd from Berlin rates our Tajikistan to Kyrgyzstan cycling holiday at 5 out of 5

I had been looking for a cycling trip to a part of the world where people don't often travel, that would provide both an interesting cultural insight, great scenery and challenging cycle. This tour didn't disappoint, it was everything I had hoped for, plus some; the Tajik people were extremely friendly, the cycling was challenging whilst still remaining good fun, the scenery was variable and breathtaking.I would strongly recommend this as a trip for people who want to get off the beaten track....though be warned, you do need to be pretty fit!

Trevor Taylor from Edinburgh, Scotland rates our Tajikistan to Kyrgyzstan cycling holiday at 5 out of 5

Cycling through the dramatic landscapes of the Pamirs with barely any traffic all day (especially when on the plateau) and thinking it can't get better than this but it does around the next bend, is an experience to be treasured. But the abiding memory is of the astonishing hospitality and generosity of the Pamiri people who would humble you by joyfully offering all they had with you unable to offer anything in return.
