Manisha and Guido Szamocki Cycling on the Colombia - Medellin to Bogota tour with redspokes

Manisha and Guido Szamocki, Bristol, United Kingdom
Colombia - Medellin to Bogota

Manisha and Guido Szamocki from Bristol, United Kingdom rates our Colombia - Medellin to Bogota cycling holiday at 5 out of 5

Colombia deserves to be known for it's good side, the magnificent landscape, the really friendly, polite and gracious people we met everywhere we went. Don't let the negative cover about drugs and violence put you off. Riding in a group with redspokes is very safe and a great way to see the countryside. Adrian and Javier took really good care of us all, with Adrian whipping out delicious fresh fruit and guava jelly bars just as everyone was starting to flag going up the interminable hills! The only thing about riding in Colombia is that there's no avoiding hills! Even the flat bits seem to be at least undulating! You just have to grit your teeth and face up to them! We had a great group of riders who were all about the same level, and we had a lot of laughs!

Donal Burke from New York, United States rates our Colombia - Medellin to Bogota cycling holiday at 4 out of 5

All guides were very helpful and make the trip fun. The scenery is incredible and the hills very challenging. As the trip covered some beautiful small towns as well as the two largest cities I felt that we got to see a good cross section of Colombia. I would love for others to discover the magic of Colombia

Bernie Sheehan Cycling on the Vietnam N.E tour with redspokes

Bernie Sheehan, Killcare, Australia
Vietnam N.E

Bernie Sheehan from Killcare, Australia rates our Vietnam N.E cycling holiday at 5 out of 5

This is an extraordinary trip with challenging uphill cycling but you are rewarded with stunning scenery, adventurous cycling, unbelievable terrain from mountains to rivers. An insight into how the people live in the countryside in north east Vietnam are so reliant on their annual crops and community. Phong is an amazing guide and such good company. He makes everything seem effortless but you know there is a lot of work behind the scenes. Halong Bay was a great addition. Very touristy but so beautiful and the overnighting on the junk was a great way to end the trip. Thanks very much.

Victoria Seymour Cycling on the India : Spiti - Ladakh tour with redspokes

India : Spiti - Ladakh

Victoria Seymour from La Rippe, Switzerland rates our India : Spiti - Ladakh cycling holiday at 4 out of 5

This is a tour of pure emotion. Be prepared to pit yourself against the wind, the sun, the altitude and most especially yourself, to dig deep to support your team mates up and down the scenic trade roads. As always, this is a well prepared and executed non-technical route.

Diane Tenbuuren from Hope Valley, England, UK rates our Vietnam N.E cycling holiday at 5 out of 5

We are back from a wonderful holiday with Red Spokes in Vietnam and Cambodia. We had the best guides we could wish for, Le Trung Keen in Vietnam and Art Ourn & Phea (Sim) Ousaphea in Cambodia and fabulous drivers/back up support - a lot of knowledges, very kind, everything you asked they arranged, nothing was too much or impossible. We loved it! Despite the weather, rain at the first three days, we enjoyed the Vietnam N.E. tour.

Magnificent scenery when the clouds were gone and not much traffic on most of the tour – it felt like we did get to see unspoiled Vietnam. And the culture tour in and around Siem Reap was great! We did get to see Angkor Wat and other nice temples, seen how the mushrooms are grown, visited the village on stilts and were moved by the personal account of our guide at the war museum. And this all with the most beautiful tracks to cycle on!

Bryan Pooley Cycling on the India : Spiti - Ladakh tour with redspokes

Bryan Pooley, Auckland, New Zealand
India : Spiti - Ladakh

Bryan Pooley from Auckland, New Zealand rates our India : Spiti - Ladakh cycling holiday at 5 out of 5

The Spiti to Ladakh ride is a physically demanding challenge but Raju and his team have, in my experience, assisted and encouraged each rider to achieve their objectives. This is my second trip with Raju and his team and I have thoroughly enjoyed both experiences. The whole team (guides, cook, drivers & camp attendants) have always make every effort to provide for the requirements of the rides with well timed energy stops, bike repairs, arranged camp facilities and tasty meals.

The landscape along the entire route is stunning but the isolation of the Spiti Valley was particularly attractive to me although road conditions were often challenging on both riders and bikes. Being prepared for the long, high climbs make the challenges achievable, even for an aging rider such as myself!
