A great trip with a lovely crew (redspokes is lucky to have them) - a pleasure to see Burma before tourism and the modern world take hold.

Really great trip, every single day had incredible views. Crystal clear lakes and snow capped mountains and met some great people along the way. We couldn't climb the volcano unfortunately for the weather that day (though we had great views most days of volcanoes), but white water rafting was a great alternative. The guides were good fun, and they did a great job at altering the itinerary when needed. One of the best days was having fun locally on some dirt tracks in the hills when we had to spend an extra night in one town. The food and wine, everywhere, was so good. Argentina especially. A steak will never taste the same again!

The Thailand cycle tour was exactly as it was promoted - a perfect balance of activity and relaxation. The cycling was enjoyable rather than extreme, covering. 670km along quiet back roads and coastal routes. We also had plenty of oppurtunites to swim in the sea, with the highlight of the trip for me when we all went for a dip during a coffee stop on an unspolit small bay on the way to Ban Krut! Quite frankly I loved every minute of the tour and I think it will be a hard one to beat!

This was my first cycle organised tour and it was monumental. The tour leader David was very attentive, knowledgeable and switched on, and the support provided by the local Thai cycle company was good. The other guests were also very keen and interesting. The preparation for the tour by David was thorough, the daily agenda was perfect. Accommodation and food was very adequate and allowed us to really enjoy the Thai way of life.

I would recommend this tour to adventurers who like plenty of cycling (on 2 days we did over 100km), and a close look at Thai people and their country.

This was my first cycling holiday...and I'm hooked! Great secenery and a lot of laughs; but it was David's research, consideration for the group and non-stop hard work that really made the trip. Thanks for such a great time
Tony Mohr Cycling on the Thailand & Laos tour with redspokes

Tony Mohr, Melbourne, Australia
Thailand & Laos

Tony Mohr from Melbourne, Australia rates our Thailand & Laos cycling holiday at 5 out of 5

The redspokes Thai / Laos tour was a rich, diverse experience. More than just 'putting in the kilometers', the tour gave us opportunities to experience Laoation community, culture, language and food. Take the time to share some Lao Lao, join a local Thai Cao new year celebration, and your experience will be kuk li li (very very good)!

The boat trips give you a different view of the country and it's people, and of course the cycling itself is a stunning mix of hills and flats, limestone cliffs and quiet rice paddies. redspokes have an obvious commitment to Laos and it's people, investing in local projects and supporting organisations like COPE. I really applaud that, keep it up. !

If you just want to cycle lots of kms, stay at home. If you want a once in a lifetime experience, get on this tour.
