We are dedicated to delivering fantastic cycling holidays through the most spectacular regions of the world, offering fascinating sceneries and immense cultural interest.
But don't just take our word for it, here is what our customers have had to say about redspokes and our services...

Alice Appleton, Leeds, England, UK
A wonderful trip, very well organised and with a superb support system so that everyone who could ride that day/section was encouraged and enabled, but anyone who was sick or otherwise couldn't ride was assisted swiftly and with compassion but no fuss. A great adventure - thoroughly recommended.

John Fisher, Leeds, England, UK
From stepping off the plane in Delhi to riding the highest mountain pass in the world the trip was special and full of extremes and beauty. There were very tough moments and the challenges were met by a great group of people helped and guided by the local people, The support and back up were fantastic and with everyone coming home in one piece a great testimony to a well planned expedition.

Kevin Bailey, Worcestershire, England
What a great trip! Thanks for running with such low numbers after the cancellation of the Tibet trip. Ramesh , our guide, was brilliant and I would definitely go with him again.
He cycled every metre with us and was a fantastic companion ensuring we were comfortable at all times. We had the most fabulous food and always felt that our every comfort was being catered for, right down to early morning tea in bed and a nice steaming bowl of hot water to wash in! Even a hot water bottle on those cold high mountains, it goes without saying that this is one of the most beautiful and dramatic routes in the world and every day was jaw dropping. Brilliant! Particularly good transfers which made life so much less stressed.

Ken Moyer, Pennsylvania, USA
The trip was well planned from the start. We enjoyed a brief taste of Delhi, riding a tuk-tuk around town, and then had a chance to acclimatize riding a train and then driving to Manali. The mountains, monasteries and Indian cuisine offered an exotic experience. With the high altitude, the day long bike rides invigorated us as we enjoyed a close-up experience with the local village people.
Camping was very comfortable, from our cots and dining tent to the home-made food. Ramesh, our guide, and Aneil, our cook, plus our driver, made us feel very welcome. They were professional and personable.I would highly recommend this trip for the fit cyclist who wants to experience northern Indian life.

Christine Bratton, Brooklyn, NY, USA
Enjoyable and well-organized trip with like-minded fellow cyclists. Enthusiastic leader and great local support team. Gorgeous, spectacular terrain and scenery.

Mark Swindall, Worthing, West Sussex, England
Great opportunity to experience a remote wilderness area and really test your cycling. Truly a memorable trip, encompassing a wide variety of scenic and cultural opportunities, and excellent value

Julia Swindall, Worthing, West Sussex, England
Despite suffering badly from altiude sickness (I was only well enough to do three days cycling) I have come away feeling I had a great trip and feel privilegd that I was able to stay with the group and to have seen the Himalayas. ( this was only possible because of the excellent care and support I recieved from Felipe Sushil and my husband Mark).I may be tempted one day to give it another go!

Geoff Bennett, Australia
A good tour with Raju being very helpful and Naveem and Vee good to ride with. Another good redspokes trip.

David Brixey, West Sussex, UK
Raju and his team were excellent. They had very good local knowledge, they went out of their way to look after us and to make sure that we had everything that we needed to get the most from the trip.

Tom Wojcik, Vancouver, Canada
This is a great trip! The Indian partners went out of their way to ensure our comfort and safety throughout. Campsites were chosen with care and were all very nice. The food was first rate! The care taken to acclimatize people was appreciated, as most of us had minimal altitude-related issues. I would recommend this trip to any of my experienced cycling buddies; this was probably the best value for money I've received for any cycling trip I have done.

Ed Kenney Herbert, Weston-Super-Mare, England, UK
The trip was superb, the scenery and weather were excellent and I thought that the tour was exceedingly good value for what was included.

Anne Barry, Peterborough, England, UK
Very good trip. Good fun - great group of people. Beautiful countryside, friendly people and food to die for, especially as I am a vegetarian!

Thomas Preston, South East, England, UK
Having been on many supported trips in Asia, the situation of lodging and food is always somewhat of an adventure; but usually wonderful, and this trip was no exception. Regardless, the best or worst accommodations and/or food quality become secondary when the guide is a caring and enthusiastic person, such as Mr. Ox in Nepal. No matter the distance, weather, conditions, lodging, food, or whatever, Ox was always there to be a positive force in every aspect of our trip!

Eugene Yurist, London, UK
Overall the trip was great. The information which was sent prior to the start was solid. Mr. Heang was very thorough during the trip briefing and the daily summary in terms of itinerary, sights and sounds and safety. The bikes were well serviced daily, the food - both restaurant and picnic - was great and Mr. Heang, Mr. Ratha and the drivers kept us safe, sound and motivated, i.e. nothing stood in the way of ENJOYING THE RIDE! I recommend the trip and the team highly for all levels of experience.

Steve Barnes, London, England, UK
This trip to Tibet and the chance to cycle The Roof Of The World has to be the ultimate experience for any rider. Steeped in history and mystery, Tibet remains a truly wonderful wilderness, and if the altitude doesn't take your breath away the views certainly will! If you are looking for a challenge and something that little bit different, this is the perfect trip. Everyone should do it.

Kirsty MacPherson, Dundee, Scotland
Doing this trip has been one of my greatest experiences of my life. The scenery and people of both countries will knock your socks off and the sense of achievement is indescribable. It was tough going at times but the support crew and Dermot made sure that the group were well looked after.

Eliza Wolfson, Bristol, UK
Fantastic riding every day, which was sometimes quite challenging, and the right amount of rest days. What really made this trip stand out and be so rewarding was the variety of landscape and terrain. Definitely more mountain biking than touring, but in the best possible way.
Nepal was not what I expected, it was dustier and busier and more full of life. Definitely worth it - just book it. Then get training!

Marie Sadler, Bedfordshire, England, UK
This truly for me was the trip of a lifetime and every day lived up to my expectations and beyond. Its impossible to explain the amazing scenery and the emotion at being at the rooftop of the world! Even on the toughest days there was always something that made you smile. This is an incredible adventure. We had a wonderful group, relaxed and fun to be with. The support and encouragement was always in abundance. David our "leader" ;-) and all the support team Tibetan and Nepalese did an incredible job looking after us, the meals they turned out to say the least were spectacular!!! I couldn't fault a thing! This was my third redspokes tour and you continually get it right... Well done and I look forward to choosing my next adventure with you.

Melanie Hufnagel and Jurgen Fenn, Germany
Die Tour war sehr gut organisiert und das begleitpersonal immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben bis jetzt noch nie so luxorios gezeltet. Alles in allem ein sehr empfehlenswerte Reise. The tour was very well organised and the local staff were always friendly and helpful. We have never before experienced such luxurious camping. All in all a very recommendable trip.

Warren Foreman, Trinity Gardens, South Australia
I really had a fantastic trip, it was well organised, the support crew were great and the cycling was beyond what I could have imagined. To cycle through such remote and rugged country and meet up with people who are living as their forefathers have done for hundreds of years has made this the standout of my cycling holidays. This has been the best 'bang' for my cycling 'buck' ever.

Ian Kirkland, Scotland, living in Australia
This was a fascinating journey from start to finish with a great group of fellow cyclists, guides and support crew. I feel a huge sense of achievement having completed the journey. Both Tibet and Nepal are stunningly beautiful countries. Cycling in the Everest region is an experience that will stay with me for many years. I would definitely recommend redspokes to anyone I know who is thinking of doing a long distance cycling trip. Everything ran extremely smoothly and I think this has a lot to do with the experience of the guides and the well thought out organisation that went into the planning of the trip.

Debbie Denton, Chesterfield, England, UK
A big, big, thanks for a fabulous holiday in Laos/Thailand. Everything about the holiday we both enjoyed;- the friendly smiley Laos/Thailand's, impressive scenery, great cycling, food, weather, various types of accommodation, organisation, the diversity of each day, not forgetting our fellow cyclists - even the mad Scotsman !!, the list could go on and on !!! Best holiday ever, look forward to the next.

Christian Carthew, Victoria, Australia
What an amazing experience. Our crew was superb and kept us fed like kings the entire trip. It was an adventure that is unforgettable, cycling through Tibet and Nepal allows for a very hands-on tangible experience. The climbs were testing given the effect of altitude; however, the reward was the best views and descents ever. Dropping down from the high Tibetan plateaus and into the valleys of Nepal was spectacular. Thank you to the crew and to my fellow riders for making this just so magic :-)

Jennifer Parsons, Stockport, Cheshire, England UK
Kyrgystan is a wonderful place, and this trip, was the first redspokes had made with an official tour group. Despite some teething problems, the trip was exciting, culturally rewarding, and gave us day after day of amazing scenery.
It was tougher than the 6/10 billing due to the majority of the route being off-road, but don't let that put you off!

Lesley Berongoy, UK
I had a wonderful holiday and I would particularly like to comment on how wonderfully Phea managed the trip. I experienced him as a warm, unassuming person, inobtrusive in his manner, putting me at ease. He has a natural ability with people which enabled him to 'hold' the tour. He was aware of each member and quietly took care of us all. He laughed a lot! His great sense of humour and playful fun (echoed by the 2 drivers) rippled through the holiday. It would not have been the same trip without Phea - he would not be easily replaced!

Richard Kitson, West Yorkshire, England, UK
What a fantastic way to spend Christmas Day, cycling through unbelievable tea plantation scenery. The hill side camp site was a stunning venue and well worth the gruelling climb up the drive to get there! The tour was brilliant and considering the difficulties caused by the Kerala/Tamil Nadu dispute, the support team and Ben managed it admirably.

David and Jane Mercer, Rhoon, Netherlands
Our second redspokes tour and again the local team exceeded our expectations, from meeting us at the airport, servicing the bikes everyday, taking time to show and explain the local sights and customs and finally meeting us off the bus when we extended our visit for a few days in Vietnam. Overall we were like a group of friends traveling together rather than just tour guides and tourists.

Alan Swann, Northumberland, UK
It was a great trip and we were well looked after - so thanks again. Felipe is a real star

Peter Daniel, Cheshire
The cycling was tough but very rewarding. The scenery when in Ladakh was astonishing and although the ascents were long and hard, the descents were exhilarating. Felipe did a very good job despite it being his first tour.

Giselle Devlin, UK
The trip was fantastic, as was the camping and all the staff involved in this. Our redspokes guide Felipe was a lovely person, great company and worked really, really hard. The group of people on the trip were all really lovely. Overall we were proud to complete a very tough trip!!

Wendy Morriseau, Vancouver Canada
I had a wonderful adventure and would do another tour with redspokes and recommend your company.

Debbie and Andrew Buxton, Chesterfield, England, UK
The scenery was spectacular and the people were a delight. The trip was very well organised. Ian, Raj and the other leaders were fantastic and it seemed as though we had been in India for months rather than months rather than weeks because of how much we saw and did. Our fellow holiday makers were just great people. This was our 3rd redspokes trip which we have thoroughly enjoyed again and we intend to do more. Bring it on Dermot!

Christine Daniel, Cheshire, England
Within the first few days of the trip I realised that the altitude and cycling was going to prove too much for me. However, I was able to travel in the support vehicle & learnt a lot about the landscape & culture from Gini, the local guide. I walked along sections & stopped at chai stalls to take photos and sip cinnamon tea. Obviously, I would have liked to cycle but I don't feel I missed out on anything else.

Marie Sadler, Luton, England, UK
This was my second redspokes tour and once again it was a wonderful experience. We had a fantastic group of people who contributed to the great time we all had. The tour was well organised with great guide/drivers/helpers. I was thrilled to have experienced the real India and get the opportunity to visit rural villages and interact with the people. I think the trip exceeded my expectations and I have come away with a great insight to Indian life and the chance to see areas that most people never get to see. Well done redspokes and I look forward to the next trip.

Peter Marsden, Blackpool, England, UK
My first experience of India was outstanding; an astonishing mixture of urban and rural scenery, with gentle warm and friendly people. The cycling was varied (and hilly) and the heat added to the challenge. My fellow cyclists proved helpful and humorous adding to the enjoyment - many thanks to all of them.

Christine Dawson, New Zealand
The cycling was fab, I was cycling with a running injury and whilst I do a bit of cycling do not consider myself a cyclist. I found the terrain in places challenging but nothing I could not handle. I think a 5 was pitched about right. I would certainly recommend your tour and indeed do it again. Thank you so much for an excellent, treasured memories filled holiday.

Rita Gough, Preston, England, UK
I have been on a few redspokes tours, all amazing but I think Kerala was my favourite. Absolutely wonderful place and people - so much to see - I can't wait to go back there.

Clark Schofield, Kent, England, UK
Unforgettable journey though places I would never get the chance to see otherwise. Truly spectacular landscapes and great companionship made this a very special trip.

Donald Gow, Edinburgh, Scotland
Dermot your tour was excellent we really apriciate the fact that we saw life off the beaten track and experiance a taste of the culture.

Robert Oddo, USA
Great trip. Very well organized trip. Spectacular views and great riding!

Russell Snowden, Lennoxtown, Scotland
Completing this trip ranks as one of the most incredible challenges I have ever done and the sense of achievement is amazing. The tour leader and all of the local staff contributed greatly to making this happen, this along with every member of the tour.

Jon Sturman, Cumbria, England, UK
A very well organised trip, I would recommend redspokes above other companies who run this route. The reason being the quality of leadership, back-up, the food and an itinerary which allows for better acclimatization. Oh, and we had a superb group!

Moey Chen Lim, London, England, uk
Fantastic trip.....Fabulous and breathtaking views! Painful at times and yet sweetness absorbing the views. Walker a great guide and really attentive Nepali and Tibetian crew and the group makes this trip memorable!!!

Margaret Sills, Weston-super-Mare, UK
I would have no hesitation in recommending Redspokes cycling adventure tours having had an excellent experience riding from Lhasa (Tibet) to Kathmandu (Nepal) along the Friendship Highway, with a detour to Everest Base camp. The flexibility and determination to ensure that we achieved our goals were unparalleled and several circumstances overcome that lesser organisations may have given in to. The itinerary and choice of campsites/hotels gave us every opportunity to acclimatise as well as experience different environments and maximise our chances of completing this 10/10 extreme tour. An adventure experience that I doubt I shall surpass. I would particularly like to commend Gambu Sherpa, our cycle guide who not only rode with us but also managed the whole trip superbly - always a sparkle in his eye, great cycle mechanic and so patient. Brilliant.

Don Buchanon, Shelley, West Australia
Every effort was made to make sure our trip ran smoothly and it did. I would recommend the team that looked after us to anybody else contemplating doing a similar trip.RegardsDon

Declan Williams, Kidderminster, UK
It was great trip, and I had never done anything like this before and if times ever got bad there was always someone to help.

Jesse Dudley, Pennsylvania, USA
An excellent trip with fellow travelers who became friends along the way. The mountain biking in Nepal is still inspiring me back at home. Good wishes to Ox, Milan, Sunil, and our driver who took good care of us along the waY.

Not quite the end of the world, but a long way south, redspokes Chile/ Argentina tour takes you through quite European looking farmland, round perfectly cone-shaped, snow covered volcanoes (extinct, mostly), and through groves of monkey puzzle trees as you cycle back into Chile from Argentina. Plenty of time to take it all in, even to climb a volcano if you wish! As varied as one comes to expect from a redspokes tour, something for everyone.
Richard Garlick, Bushey,England, UK
On this tour you see a lot of different scenery such as volcanoes, lakes, the pacific coastline and a huge variety of trees and plants. The treats in the cycling are timed well, the accommodation at the end of the day is sometimes charming, sometimes in a stunning location, but always comfortable. Do climb Villarica as it is an unforgettable adventure. The food and wine are so good you could find yourself putting on weight which is unusual for a cycling holiday.

Dave and Eve Jones, Malmesbury, England, UK
We had a hoot, and enjoyed ourselves immensely, as well as making a number of good new friends. It was hard going, but enjoyable none-the-less, and despite eating like horses, we came back 0.5 stone lighter !!! I think the biggest testimony is that we are all planning another trip for 2012 '“ same group, same tour leader. We had a fantastic time. Thank you!

Michelle Morris, Baildon, England, UK
The redspokes Tibet tour was AMAZING. It was a very well organised trip which allowed plenty of time before the start for acclimatization to the altitude. The scenery was just something else. There was not a cloud in the sky at Everest. It was so hard on many levels, but worth every second it. I can't put into words just how awesome the experience was, but it is one which will stay with me forever.

Geoff Bennett, , Mudgee, NSW, Australia
My second trip with redspokes. Organisation and itinerary were fantastic on both, I'm looking forward to the next. _400x0.jpg)
Joe Doyle, , Mudgee, NSW, Australia
I had a wonderful time and would recommend redspokes to anybody, I enjoyed everything on the tour. Thank you again!
Ivy and Neville Higgs, Mudgee NSW, Australia
redspokes was great in every way. Bryony was always so helpful & friendly & answered all emails promptly..Everyone went out of their way to see that we had a terrific holiday & succeeded admirably. Thanks so much for a fantastic experience
Robert Coggins, Strathfield NSW, Australia
I very much enjoyed the redspokes Vietnam / Laos cycling holiday. The tour leader, David Walker, did an excellent job in maintaining happiness and harmony within the group and ensuring that no one was left behind. He also liased very well with Phong and Dalit and their crews who were all most helpful at all times. I would recommend a redspokes adventure to any cyclist - especially with a leader of the calibre of David whose enthusiasm and readiness to help in any way was infectious.
Pat Green, Dudley, England, UK
This is the second redspokes trip we have been on and again we were really pleased with everything. David our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful and both the two food and transport teams were very good. The river trips were interesting and slotted in well with the cycling. Some overnight stays were more comfortable than others but the authenticity is what we enjoy. We would not enjoy going to touristy hotels every night. The group of cyclists bonded really well and we had a lot of laughs. We were sorry when the tour finished.

Sean Schofield, , London, England, UK
Thanks to everyone at redspokes. I had an amazing time and definitely would go on another redspokes trip.

Helen Young , Chiswick, London, UK
A great trip '“ well-planned, good tour leaders/team spirit and a fantastic, challenging way to see a beautiful & unspoilt country.

Debbie Glenwright , Townsville Australia
Cycling in Laos was excellent as the trip combined the challenge of ridingthrough some beautiful hilly countryside, while at the same time taking inmany different cultural experiences. The homestay with the local villagerswas the highlight of the trip.

Nicola Hardie , Singapore
The amazing opportunity this trip provides to really truly understand Laos as a country, understand at first hand some of the issues it faces on its road to development and really meet the people.
Their lives are lived on the roads in front of their wooden huts, so on a bike you have every opportunity to understand it, interact and even participate in their life via a homestay. Outside the capital, they live in the middle ages '“ limited electricity, no running water, wood huts cooking on fire, the cooking area is the same as the living room and the bedroom. This trip gave us a unique opportunity to live with them (with a homestay) and realise that although they may not have much materially, they gain everything in the richness of their family and community support. Something we have long lost in more developed countries......making me wonder if development, although inevitable, will really bring these people more happiness.

Debbie Glenwright, Townsville, Australia
Cycling on the Kerala tour was majestic, incorporating some of the most picturesque mountain views and waterways that at times were breath taking. The waterfalls, tea plantations, temples, fishing villages and very manageable climbs made the trip more of a cultural experience than a challenging ride. The overwhelming friendliness of the people and the unique cultural traditions and rituals were amazing. Eating curry now has a whole new meaning!!!

,
The local Laos team were outstanding and great to be with - Khen, Daolit, May and Khen the driver. They're committed to what they do and obviously enjoy it - Khen had some of his family helping at various points.
Ken and Daolit have excellent English and interpersonal skills and good local knowledge; they give useful cultural dimensions which is useful.I loved Laos - a special trip - one of my best adventures so far: it combined activity, beautiful scenery, great people, delicious food and cultural insights.

Eric and Ros Fraser, Hobart, Australia
We've never been on an organised tour before but this was a wonderful first experience. David was marvellous and the group was friendly, diverse and interesting.
Jonathan Woodhouse, Ashbourne, England, UK
I've never been on an organised tour before, as I normally prefer to be able to go at my own pace and change routes if I feel like it. For Tibet this isn't a practical option. The redspokes tour offered the chance to see Tibet and clock up some miles in an otherwise inaccessible, and culturally fascinating, area. Liked the attitude of the organisation, in putting cycling first, and would definitely recommend you to anyone wanting to do this route. Excellent support staff and still barely able to credit that the food was so good/plentiful that I came back the same weight I started out.

Nigel Gerke, Swansea, Wales.
A challenging tour with excellent staff and a great group of fellow cyclists, through a dramatic and thought provoking country
Mark Hoskins , Wolverhampton, England, UK
A great trip David and Ken were great guides and provided plenty of information about Laos. An awesome way to see this magnificent country; far better than from the back of an air-conditioned bus. I met a great group of fellow travellers. This holiday will be remembered for a long time.
