Paul Crout Cycling on the Vietnam N.E tour with redspokes

Paul Crout, London, England
Vietnam N.E

Paul Crout from London, England rates our Vietnam N.E cycling holiday at 5 out of 5

I have been on several trips before but I rate this one the best ever. It was well run the hotels and guest houses were clean and very welcoming. Vietnam has to be one of the cheapest places to visit in the world, the food was great and the beer is cheaper than water. The people are the most friendliest I've ever met and the women are the prettiest. The views were spectacular and the cycling was hard but we all made it. I'm now looking forward for my next trip with redspokes to China .

Minetta Koomstra & Jan Ronken Cycling on the Lhasa to Kathmandu tour with redspokes

Minetta Koomstra & Jan Ronken, Houten, The Netherlands
Lhasa to Kathmandu

Minetta Koomstra & Jan Ronken from Houten, The Netherlands rates our Lhasa to Kathmandu cycling holiday at 4.5 out of 5

It was a great experience and a marvelous trip through the best scenery ever! The support team was great; all nice guys! Teamleader Ox was very attentive and careful. Our Tibettan guide Migma was a great addition to the team because of his knowledge of culture and history and his drive to share it with us. The cook did his utmost to feed and please us. Hear, hear ! In a way we were lucky that the tour couldn't go as far as Kathmandu, because the Nepal/Chinese border was closed. Because of that, our tour consisted of 25 % unpaved road through a great and desolated countryside. A second advantage was that there were less heavy trucks on the road. We think it is important that your potential clients are aware of the fact that a regular tour is 98 % tarmac with sometimes heavy traffic.

Karakoram Highway to Kyrgyzstan

Mike Wood from Surrey rates our Karakoram Highway to Kyrgyzstan cycling holiday at 5 out of 5

I really enjoyed the trip, my first to such remote locations. The support team was excellent, always there with a friendly smile and an offer of a cup of tea. Although it was disappointing that the Chinese border was closed for ten days, those of us with mountain bikes were kept well exercised. The generosity and friendliness of the people in the Hunza valley was a real bonus. The contrast between landscapes in the three countries was also a highlight.

Harry Lyons Cycling on the Karakoram Highway to Kyrgyzstan tour with redspokes

Harry Lyons, London
Karakoram Highway to Kyrgyzstan

Harry Lyons from London rates our Karakoram Highway to Kyrgyzstan cycling holiday at 5 out of 5

The support teams, especially in Pakistan where we spent most time, were wonderful - personable, knowledgeable, generous, hard-working and efficient at sorting out local problems. Tour leader, "Dermot the Great", personified the three e's - energy, enthusiasm and efficiency and managed the difficult task of balancing the needs of the group with the needs of individuals. Highly recommended to cyclists of all types.
