Our first RedSpokes tour and we will be back for more. Burma was a revelation as well as an adventure. The organisation was outstanding and our guides were really very good indeed with a wonderful personal touch. The Burmese are quite simply the friendliest people we have ever met. Hurry before it all changes!

I had a fantastic experience and the trip had some really good cycling - the rest days were a real bonus, with a lovely hotel and the beach hotel was perfect (would have happily stayed there longer). The country and the local people were a real treat and in my opinion made the holiday.

Another excellent redspokes trip with a lovely group of people and the usual belly laughs. Didn't want to chuck any of them off a cliff! The trip was well run with a varied itinerary and some challenging terrain not to mention accommodation (experience enhancing)! Myanmar beauty and serenity can be seen not only in its landscape but also its people and culture. Thanks again Dermot for a fun holiday.

I had a superb time. A truly memorable trip with outstanding sites, cycling and culture. The local team are so superb, you have to do everything possible to ensure they maintain their high standards. I was deeply touched by the care they took of us all. The experiences I have had over the past 2 weeks will remain as fond memories for a long time.

This is a great trip! It is extremely well run! The bike provided was excellent. So was the bike service. The team worked hard every day to clean and service everyone's bike before the next day's ride. I also loved that drinking water was provided daily. This was not done a previous trip we took in Croatia. The fruits and snacks provided at the rest stops were a welcome relief as well. The guides and support team work tirelessly to ensure you have a great experience. As someone who did not prepare for this trip, I found the riding to be challenging; especially on Day 1 & Day 2. Then, I found that I got stronger throughout the trip. The experiences from the perch of the bicycle were incredible. I loved how so many people came to greet us as we rode by. We were complete Martians to most of the people we passed! I especially loved the visit to the school and was thrilled to have been a part of the celebration. I feel so fortunate to have been a part of such a special group! Thank you for making it all possible.

The team were fantastic and treated us to gifts and a great insight into a country which is going through great changes, at the time the riding was hard going (rough surface). Food was plentiful, you will not go hungry on this tour, weather in February was warm with a nice breeze to keep you going. Schwadagon pagoda was amazing in Yangon. In short visit Burma while you can before it changes into Thailand!!! a land of great warmth and smiles you have to go NOW!!

I found the trip well put together physically active and a good view of Myanmar especially the local villages and people who were not yet over exposed to tourists.

Really enjoyed the Burma trip and the people on the tour. The food was much better than I was expecting, with every day providing a new foodie experience. The support crew were full of fun and enthusiasm. Whilst the riding at times was quite tough due to the heat and road conditions, the MTB bikes coped very well. The lovely Burmese people and the incredible variety of landscapes, plus of course one or two Pagodas!! were simply the icing on the cake. Many Thanks to redspokes

Myanmar is certainly a magical place and I feel lucky to have been able to cycle around the country in its modern day infancy as it gradually opens up to tourism. It's rich in history and culture (Bagan was simply breathtaking), and the people we met along the way are some of the friendliest and most welcoming in the world. There was a real spectrum of cycling terrain, from comfortable flats via stunning valleys to some testing ascents over rough surfaces. It really hit home what years of military rule can do to infrastructure and the economy, but you forget about any pain when the kids in the villages run out from their homes to greet you as you pass by. The support crew treated us all like their own family, working tirelessly to make sure we had a fab Christmas and New Years (including making sure the food I got throughout the trip was vegetarian!), not to forget Julian who was a first rate tour leader.

I've been on many group trips and they are always different, but the redspokes trip to Burma is now among my favourites. I try not to have expectations when I go on these sorts of trips. Things don't always go to plan and I know that the local guides and staff are still working through the best way to operate. For me personally that's part of the attraction. Even with that in mind, I'm finding it difficult to pick fault. The whole experience was so well run. I would rate everything about it as excellent - particularly the staff who were tirelessly attentive and competent in their individual roles. The accommodation exceeded my expectations. Almost the whole time we had our own bathroom and toilet. I enjoyed the local food - even more so when we were in the mix with local people. As for the redspokes guide Julian. I rate him as one of the top guides I've travelled with.
