The food provided on our Mogolia cycling holidays is adapted to western tastes with some samples of Mongolian cuisine included. A typical breakfast consists of different types of porridges: oatmeal, rice, semolina; bread both baked and fried, butter, spreads, eggs, tea, coffee, sausages. A typical lunch is a light soup followed by a main course of stir fries with meat, vegetables, rice, pasta, noodles. Dinners include vegetables, salads and a main course. In addition, we have a tea stop at around 11am on each cycling day where dried fruits, nuts and potato crisps are available together with tea, coffee or coke to replenish sugar. A daily granola bar is also given in addition to those normally brought by people from home. Biscuits and crackers are also made available during the “happy hour” when people having camped and cleaned enjoy a beer or two until the dinner is served.
Canned beer, aerated drinks and wine are bought in advance at extra cost at your request. We can cater for vegetarian, vegans and gluten free diets – please do inform us in advance of any special dietary requirements.
