Rainforest, Ravines and Puna
Salinas Grandes
The Salinas Grandes are accessed via dramatic mountain switch back road. Once a high altitude lake, Northern Argentina’s giant salt plain is a stunning white expanse of 8,290 km² that spreads as far as the eye can see – bring your sunglasses! The vast glistening plain set against clear blue skies is a sight to behold. Square pools cut into the crust with newly formed crystals are a marked contrast.
Local artisans sell all manner of carved and crafted salt goods from Llama to cacti.

Customer Testimonial
"This was my first ever organised and fully supported cycling holiday. It was also the best cycling holiday that I have ever had. The wild and wonderful scenery, mile after..."
