Starting in Medellin, we'll take you on a challenging cycle ride through the Andean mountains to reach the vibrant high altitude capital, Bogota. Along the way, we'll cycle through an amazing variety of landscapes, sights, and cultures, including the lush verdant hillsides of the coffee district.

Our tour includes acclimatization days in Medellin, where you can experience the famous Sunday Ciclovia, before heading North West to Santa Fe de Antioquia, a colonial former gold mining town. From there, we'll ride South West to La Pintada and Salamina, cycling along mountain ridges and through spectacular coffee regions. We'll visit rural towns in the Caldas region, home of the Paisas people and one of the main coffee-growing areas, with views of curving mountains and thick forestation.

The ultimate challenge of the trip is cycling the Altro de Letras up to Padua, the world’s longest uphill cycle with a high point of 3,679m. We'll then ride on through small mountain top historic towns towards Bogotá, where we'll explore the city's rich history and culture. With a history of European colonialism and a troubled era of political struggles and drug wars, modern Colombia has moved on from the past, striving for a new future and now welcomes visitors.
